The QS-463 is a Sterilight factory original open-ended 100% fused silica quartz sleeve which is used in the Silver and Silver Plus and the old style GOLD series as well as the 6 gpm 12V DC system and the 6 gpm vending system. Fits S5Q-PA, S5Q, S5Q-GOLD, and SSM-24.
The Viqua Quartz Sleeve provides thermal protection to your ultraviolet lamp ensuring the disinfection system continues to optimally reduce bacteria and viruses in the water. For best results, this sleeve should be cleaned on a consistent basis after installation. Replace this sleeve in the event of damage or fouling.
The replacement sleeve does not include a Part No. 410867 O-ring which is a separate item that may be required.
